Back to the Doctor

I decided I'd better take Terren to the doc today.

He woke up a little congested on Saturday, batting at his ears, and since, he has had a colorful runny nose and red eyes. He has also been fussy and needy!

He again has a slight ear infection on both sides. Last time, he took no antibiotics and they cleared on their own, so I am hoping for the same results this time! If he is still fussy in a few days, we'll be calling for some drugs!

He has also had a terrible rash on his back for a few months, so I had the doc check that out today too. Chad has always had severe dermatitis and recently found that vaseline cures (or controls) his redness and rashes. We've never really used anything other than Vaseline on Terren because he breaks out, but the vaseline is not helping his back at all. I pray he outgrows this condition unlike his father! It IS NOT comfortable. The doctor wrote a prescription for cortizone but said to continue with the vaseline. At least we can hope to control the itching, scabbing, spreading, etc.
